Westwood Village is a community of shops, restaurants and hotels for every taste and price range. Due to it's proximity to The University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), there are quite a few budget restaurants, clothing and furniture stores. The community also serves Brentwood and Bel Air, two very affluent neighborhoods and is Wilshire Boulevard, east of Westwood Boulevard. - Note: this intersection is rated the busiest intersection in the world! So that many very fine Jewelry and clothing stores and restaurants share this very pleasant neighborhood with the "starving" students.

UCLA Medial center on the campus is considered one of the worlds best and the research labs are on the cutting edge of biology, macr-bioligy, astronomy, medicine and many other fields and so attracts some of the words greatest minds to study ant teach. With a student population of over 35,000, UCLA is a city onto itself.
